ILENE GIENGER-STANFIELD
Figure in Pastels

April 9-11
Some experience $295 + Models Fee

In this 3-day intensive workshop, the focus will be on painting the whole figure with more confidence. A former student of Harley Brown, Ilene teaches many of his techniques in combination with her knowledge and style. Starting with short poses using a live model, you will practice your drawing skills which will include accuracy, edges and value. Next, as the poses lengthen, you will incorporate those drawing skills with color and gesture exaggeration. Learn to paint the figure and begin to capture the essence of everyday life in an atmosphere that is individualized, good humored and supportive with lots of one-on-one time for each student.
