Acrylics are amazing for the limitless surface qualities you can create when painting. From pouring, scraping, slathering, carving, dragging, dripping and occasionally using a brush, you will learn techniques to control pours that mimic glass-like resins or creviced, cracked and aged surfaces.  Join Patti to explore acrylic- encaustic wax-like patinas and seductive surfaces for painting, drawing and transfer applications…and play with unique gels and grounds.  Loosen up, paint and discover the unique capacity of acrylic to build layers that can add depth and nuance to your paintings. This is an incredible opportunity to learn from an instructor who is not only an accomplished artist, but an Acrylic materials specialist.

Patti Brady is an award winning painter and printmaker, who lives and works in Greenville, South Carolina. She is also the director of Golden Artist Colors’ Working Artist Program.
